On behalf of JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, Department of Kayachikitsa organized one day General Health Checkup Camp on 03.08.2021 from 10am to 2 pm at Arya Vaishya Bhavana , Kollegal.

The Inaugural programme started at 10am with the prayer, Shri E.D. Krishna Kumar ,President of Arya Vaishya Sangha, Kollegal welcomed the gathering. Dr Beena M D, HOD, Dept of Kayachikitsa, Dr Deepa C Patil, Professor, Dept of Kayachikitsa were present.

After the brief Inaugural programme, Dr Beena gave a awareness talk on the topic Ayurveda for General Health, had information about Ayurveda in day to day life and adopting Panchakarma in current situation. After that Dr Deepa patil spoke about COVID 19 – past, present and future care to public through Ayurveda. A skit was done by the students for the audience on awareness on Covid and the precautions to be taken to prevent the covid and post covid measures adhered. Mrs Aparna, President of Mahila Samaja Sangha, Kollegal proposed vote of thanks and Mastered ceremony. Members of Arya Vaishya Sangha, Kollegal, Members of Mahila Samaja, Kollegal and Members of Yuva jana Sangha were present through out the camp and around 136 public were benefited by the awareness talk.
