Department of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga organized a camp for JSS BEd and JSS DEd students on 27/3/2024[ WEDNESDAY ] at Shree kshetra Suttur on Mark of International Womens day – 2024, A Health Awareness Program on Menstrual Problems and Free Health Camp was conducted.

The camp started with divine blessings of Shri S.P. Udayashankar Buddi around 10:30 am & continued till 1:30 pm & was led by Dr Usha D T[ Associate Professor of Dept. of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga] ,Dr Nanda K O[ Assistant Professor Dept of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga] & Dr Tejaswini K R[ Assistant Professor , Dept. of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga] , Dr Lakshmi[ Assistant Professor , Dept. of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga] were the chief consultants along with them PG scholars Dr Anushree A B C, Dr Shilpa, Dr Sukanya & Interns Dr Bhavana, Dr Chethan from the Department of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga participated in the camp.

Around 120 women aged between 18-30 years with ailments related to menstrual irregularities, Primary Dysmenorrhea, Pre menstrual syndrome, white discharge etc., condition were assessed & prescribed free medication & further advised to visit JSS Ayurveda Hospital for further treatment.

Following which Guest lecture was delivered to the students by the faculty of Dept. of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga on Menstrual Hygiene, Menstrual irregularities etc., All the staff and students actively participated and helped in making this event a grand success.
