The free health camp was conducted at SKS public school on 06-12-2024by the department of PG Studies in Kaumarabhritya and PG Studies in Swasthavritta, of JSS Ayurveda medical college, Mysuru.

Dr.Preethi.H.M(Assistant professor) department of PG Studies in Kaumarabhritya,Dr.Sushmitha CT. (Assistant professor) PG Studies in Swasthavritta, Dr. Chandana(DMO), Dr.Rakshitha C N  (PG Scholar), Dr.Harsha D S (PG Scholar), Dr.Pradeep (PG Scholar) and interns of respective department took part in the camp.

Inauguration of the camp was started at 10.30 am,  After that Dr. Preethi H M and Dr. Sushmitha C T inaugurated the science exhibition organized by the school and Judged the prizes for the best model, the students were addressed regarding the camp and its benifits.  

Dr Sushmitha C T gave awareness about the menstrual hygine for the womens and necessary lifestyle changes for the prevention of disease and Dr Preethi H M gave awarness about lifestyle and hygine to be followed to maintain good health for the Childrens.

The total beneficiaries were 38 children and 20 women .The commonly seen conditions in women were generalised weakness, anaemia, skin conditions, menstrual problems etc. and in children were Worm infestations ,respiratory problems, constipation,loss of appetitie ,anemia and the medications were given for the children in need. As there was lack of proper diet and hygiene the consultants advised the importance of proper diet and hygiene the related problems if it is not maintained.
