Mysuru, August 6, 2021: The JSS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital conducted an awareness program and general health checkup camp for the benefit of employees of the 5th battalion, KSRP, Mysuru, at their campus August 21, 2021.

The program started with a brief introduction and welcome speech by Mr. Mahadeva swamy, ASP, who introduced our doctors to the participants.

Dr. Manasa S.D., Assistant Professor, Dept. of Panchakarma explained about the various services available at the JSS Ayurveda Hospital. Dr. Pooja Hassan G., Assistant professor, Dept. of Swasthavritta explained about Arogyakkagi Ahara (Food for health), and importance of diet. She also explained about how can modify our diet based on our daily needs.

The dais program was followed by health screening of the participants. A total number of 201 participants utilized the benefit of the camp. Majority of the health problems were related to stress, low back pain, ano-rectal complaints, joint pains, obesity and headache.

The participants expressed their gratitude for organizing the camp, which concluded at 12.30 pm. The coordinators requested to conduct more such camps for the benefit of their employees health.
